Our Mission

The mission of the club is to promote patriotism in our community; to promote love and respect for our nation; to recognize and honor those who served in the Armed Forces of the United States, and those who served as our nation’s First Responders; and to develop and strengthen friendship among club members.

Club members are sometimes asked about the proper way to dispose of torn and tattered American Flags. Solera residents can drop off flags at the clubhouse for proper disposal.  In addition, the club has recently taken on the service project of making replacement flags available to anyone that needs one.  They are 3’x5′ in size and made of super knit polyester.  You can arrange to pickup one or have it delivered to your home by sending an EMail to the club or placing a phone call.  (see above contact information).  Be sure to provide your name, address, phone number and EMail address.

Memorial day is a special day for Veterans and their families.  On memorial day of each year, the club conducts a flag raising ceremony at the flagpole.  The ceremony includes ‘memoralizing’ family members of Solera residents.  Additions to the list can be sent to SoleraVeterans@outlook.com
